CHICAGO AND POEM

CHICAGO Sunset and Poem of the Windy City off of Lake Michigan with a Toast to Chicago Champagne Glasses lights Essence. Dedicated and given to Mayor Harold Washington with a Mayoral certified letter requesting a Large Mural be placed in O'Hare Airport. The Mayoral letter was received one month before he died.

I had written a Chicago Poem to a childhood sweetheart from Wisconsin then living in Chicago. Created my 1st Commercial Artpiece and Poem. Caught the rainbow color hues in the sunset the evening after with the moon crescent over Lake Michigan.

Gave it to Mayor Harold Washington recommended from a California Judge friend and Pastor B. Herbert Martin - Dir. Human Relations submitted me as a Member of the Chicago Historical Society.
